Opulently outfitted chain restaurant specializing in prime steaks & seafood along with fine wines.

I recently dined at Del Frisco Double Eagle Steakhouse in Plano for DFW Restaurant Week and had an exceptional experience. I opted for the $99 signature experience. From start to finish, everything was superb. The $49 option also looked like a fantastic deal.Despite the restaurant being incredibly busy, the staff remained friendly and attentive throughout the evening. The soup was delicious, and the steak was cooked to perfection. Overall, it was a nice dining experience that I highly recommend.

On our dinner date my husband shared a Caesar Salad before meal. He ordered the Prime Ribeye 16 oz. If you look at pic of steak, it does not look very appealing, but my husband said it tasted perfect. So “flavorful, tender, and juicy on the inside.” I had the Pan Roasted Salmon. The salmon was the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked and falls apart with just a fork. We ordered a baked potato as a side that had to be sent back because it was cold and kind of hard. They replaced it with another hot potato. Manager came by to check on things. For dessert we ordered a Del’s Delight. Delicious! And the Lemon Cake – Six Layers, Lemon Buttercream Icing & Lemon Glaze. Unfortunately, the slice was too firm, almost hard & very dry was returned and taken off the bill.We sat upstairs in a perfect, quiet area with around 12-14 tables away from loud bar area due to March madness basket ball games going on.Emily, server, did an awesome job taking care of us. Although it got very busy she was very attention and very nice. Management visible observing and checking on things.

Upon arrival, there are numerous cars and people! They are located in a shopping center with other restaurants and stores. This was my first visit to this restaurant so I was unsure of where to park because there was no parking out front .As I drove down a bit from the restaurant, i saw there was a parking garage only. So I called a friend just to be sure about valet parking. The valet drivers were very nice and quick in making sure everyone’s cars were parked safely. Upon entering, there were no lines with the host greeting you and ready to seat you with your party. Very clean inside. The room that was given to us was very small so most of our party guests had to leave because there was not enough seating available. The menu was very specific. There were no other options to choose from. They start you off drinks, dinners rolls, and salad. Next was the entree and last but not least dessert, which was a biscuit with ice cream on top. The food was very bland and there weren’t any seasonings offered to us. So if you’re just looking for scenery for pictures or just somewhere to empress someone on a date, I recommend, but if you really want good food, good vibes, and music, I don’t recommend it.

The place was pretty packed. Nice environment. Not so dark you cant see your plate. Did the sampler course meal with spinach and asparagus, lobster, shrimp filet mignon, and salmon. All good. Had a Cesar salad and it was white as coleslaw- not sure what was going on. Butter Cake and the Crystal Margarita (despite what anyone says) were show stoppers.

Goodness gracious. Del Friscos was bustinnn' tonight. I'm talking food was on point. Cooked to absolute perfection. Service was impeccable. Apps to entrees to desserts...everything was excellent. I will definitely be back!!!

We had a lovely time at this location for our anniversary. On a Sunday evening, it wasn't packed, and the atmosphere was perfect. Jessica, our server, was great! She was knowledgeable and attentive. We had the Ceasar salad and Shanghai calamari, which were both delicious. I ordered the roasted chicken, which was a bit dry, but that's expected most times with white meat. The gravy sauce was an interesting flavor and gave the chicken moisture. The bread was AWESOME!! LOL! The sea salt, honey, and buttery coating...perfecto! My husband had the Chilean seabass. It was flaky and packed with flavor! Our sides were creamed spinach and the mushrooms, but pretty tasty.

This location unfortunately fell below expectations and the best I can give it is a 3-star. The food was mostly good and ambiance nice as well. However the secondary servers were very poor and either not trained properly or just didn't care; probably equal parts of both.To begin, our dinner party of two were warmly greeted at the door and shown our table. We were then greeted by James who was very professional and polite throughout our meal. James was not the reason for my poor rating of the service but rather the other servers who actually brought out the food, and took away the plates. Back to the experience, James took our drink orders and bread was brought out. We then made our meal orders, an appetizer, salad, two entrees and two sides. The appetizer was brought out shortly thereafter, which was the hamachi and very delicious. Every is good this far, but here is where the meal took a left turn. Not long after the appetizers were brought out, a server brought out a side of mushrooms. Yes, we did order mushrooms but certainly didn't expect it to be brought out with the appetizers instead of the mains. I had to request the mushrooms be sent back, and this honestly was a mistake I would never have expected from a high end restaurant.Later, as salad was served and we were asked if we wanted pepper, the server managed to apply pepper all around the salad except on top. He then left in a hurry, and the feeling we got was that he was simply doing his job and didn't really care about the experience he was providing nor the results of his service. As we were served our mains, there was no cautioning of a hot plate, nor were we asked if everything came out to our satisfaction. Again, the feeling was that the servers were just there to drop off packages and be on their way to the next delivery. Finally, with respect to service, as our plates were being collected after the main course, the server was a bit haphazard here as well and managed to drop silverware on the floor during the process. With respect to the food, the bread, appetizer of hamachi, wedge salad, steak, and crab cakes were all very good and was what we had expected from Del Frisco. However, the mushrooms were served prematurely as mentioned above, and furthermore, the broccolini was fibrous and tough and not up to par. Overall the food was good except for some miscues on the side dishes. Conclusion: the food overall was good, but the poor service by the secondary servers left the experience unsatisfactory given the price point and I'm sorry to say I won't be back. This is a shame because I've had a number of very good meals at the downtown location and was a big influence on making a reservation at this Plano location.

Brunch at Del Frisco’s in Plano was an absolute treat! My friend and I both had the smoked salmon flatbread, which was beyond delicious. The atmosphere was calming and chic—just perfect for enjoying our meal and catching up. The service was top-notch, with our waiter being attentive and the manager stopping by to ensure everything was just right. Great food, great ambiance, and great service all around. Highly recommend!

This experience was SOOOO needed. I have been a diehard fan of Perry's since moving to Texas and was reluctant to try any other Steak Houses. One of my closest friends use to love going to Del Frisco's and we'd planned to go and unfortunately, she passed away before we could. Needless to say, I took myself on a lunch date yesterday and now I have a NEW favorite!! I won't hesitate to go back! From the aesthetics and ambiance, upscale setting, and awesome wait staff, the food was the perfect ending. I ordered the steak medallion with the House salad for the Business Lunch. The steak was so tender and perfectly seasoned, the mashed potatoes were creamy, and the green beans were the chef's kiss and the perfect accompaniment to the steak. I can't wait to visit again!

Loved it. From the service to the quality of the food.Perfect for a date night, the ambiance is perfect. Reservations recommended.Parking is a bit of a chore, park close to the elevators.

The suggested lobster was overcooked and rubbery. They double charged my wife $5 for a soda since we started at the bar, then made our way to the dinner table even though most places comp soda as a designated driver and I had plenty of expensive alcohol drinks. For a $600 tab, I felt like I was at a regular chain steakhouse.

Absolutely delicious steaks! I’ve been to the one in NY as well and that was a similar incredible experience. It’s pretty amazing that they’ve been able to keep up the quality at two separate locations that are so far away. It’s unfortunately very common that once restaurants start multiplying and franchising, the quality of their food diminishes. That wasn’t the case here at Del Frisco’s. The steaks were cooked exactly like we asked it to and the sides were very good as well. Unfortunately, the day we went was the day after Christmas, so a majority of their seafood was wiped out and they hadn’t gotten a new shipment yet. My mother-in-law got the Chilean Sea Bass which I thought was okay, but both her and my wife liked it. We got the strawberry cheesecake and tiramisu crème brûlée for dessert which were delectable! A great experience overall and certainly would return.

We've dined at the Las Vegas location most of the time, and this is our first time at the Plano location. We decided to splurge a little and celebrate my wife successfully passing her board exam. First of all, big shout out to Collin who was our server. Attentive and just great all around. We started with half-dozen oysters on the half shell. The oysters were a little on the smaller size, think a little larger than kumamotos. It was probably just a seasonal or rotational selection, but nevertheless fresh and delicious. The mignonette though, was absolutely delicious. I can drink that stuff, it's that good! The lobster bisque was rich and decadent. Our prime boneless ribeye were the star of the show. I had mines Oscar style while my wife topped hers with truffle butter; every bite was delicious. My wife enjoyed her complimentary dessert (cheesecake) for her accomplishment, while I enjoyed my deconstructed Irish coffee. Valet is mandatory but complimentary, and you can tip via a text message confirmation. We'll definitely be back!

Overall, the experience was ok. Because we were a table of two and there were some bigger tables around us, I felt our server neglected us and paid more attention to those tables that were going to leave bigger tips. Our table was also rarely bussed. When ordering food, I asked our server Michael about the 45-Day aged Prime Strip and his description was a cheddar popcorn flavor which immediately discouraged me from ordering. My Prime Strip was excellent but the sides lacked flavor. The asparagus was swimming in butter and garlic and the brussel sprouts were made with prosciutto which made it lack that bacon flavor I like. The butter bread was good and definitely a sharing-size. Cocktails were nothing out of the ordinary so overall an ordinary experience for an upscale restaurant. Note - We were also celebrating something special but I was never made to feel special. I guess only birthdays get that extra love.

My husband and I hosted a small wedding reception in one of the private rooms. Everything was absolute perfection. The staff was outstanding and attentive, and our guests raved about the food. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Thank you to everyone involved. -The Greens

My husband and I came here for dinner. The overall experience was disappointing relative to anticipated expectations and actual cost compared to other (better) steakhouses within a 5 minute drive from here.Hardly any of the guests were dressed up. The music was utterly atrocious. It ranged from classic rock to vintage to what sounded like a song featuring Nicki Minaj. The volume of music was on the louder side as well. We sat in a room facing Windrose Ave with lots of natural light - not great for a romantic dinner atmosphere. Giving 1 star for atmosphere.Sidebar, our server was FANTASTIC thus 5 stars. The philly cheesesteak appetizer was really really flavorful. My husband's filet mignon was superb. The creamed corn and creamed spinach sides were tasty. The mushrooms were so so - a bit on the dry side and seasonless. My short rib looked beautiful but tasted extremely bland and dry. The accompanying green beans were average - I could make the same vegetable at home... For dessert, the chocolate mousse cake looked beautiful but was disappointingly tasteless. It was difficult to cut into, being so dense, and the most shocking part was that it had a mild taste of freezer burn 🤢. There was one serving of scotch remaining, that my husband ordered, so he had to find a substitute second beverage. 2 stars for the appetizer, two sides and filet. In summary, we personally will be going to other steakhouses in the future. We did not communicate the above to staff as we quickly realized we do not have the same vision for fine dining as they do and there's not much that can be done in the moment without being sour guests. Please decide for yourselves.

Made reservations for a party of 4 for a 6:15PM dinner on Saturday, earlier in the week ... arrived right at 6:15PM and were seated promptly. The atmosphere was busy, but the noise level was reasonable. Our server was delightful! She was pleasant, kind, efficient and very attentive to our every need ... drinks were always filled, crumbs picked up and questions answered. We started with Shanghai-style Fired Calamari and Thick-cut Nueske's Bacon. Both were beautiful in presentation and tasted amazing. Three of the party followed up with a salad of some type and another had the Lobster Bisque. The Lobster Bisque once again was beautiful in presentation and had an amazing depth of flavor. In regards to main entrees, two selected the Prime Ribeye, one selected the Filet Mignon and the other selected Pan Seared Scallops. All of the main entree dishes were the appropriate temperatures, were seasoned well and the steaks were incredibly tender. The only area where Del Frisco's fell flat was on the Sides. We ordered Roasted Broccolini, Truffle Twice Baked, and Creamed Corn. The Roasted Broccolini was VERY al dente (sort of like eating raw carrot crunchy), the Creamed Corn had gotten a little burned around the edges, so some bites tasted burned and the Truffle Twice Baked just tasted like mashed potatoes. The other issue with the Sides was the way they were presented. I would assume that an upscale restaurant would give you a "pretty plate", but that was not the case here. The main entree was delivered on a plate (and they looked nice) and then the server came and served the sides to you and just "blopped" it on the plate somewhere ... so I had a "blop" of creamed corn, a "blop" of mashed potatoes and a very crunch stick of broccoli.Let me end on a good note .. the service, our server and the wait staff were AMAZING!

Excellent service and food. I ordered a ribeye steak medium rare. It was so tender and juicy. The creamed spinach and creamed corn were delicious.

Would like to say that Delfrisco Double Eagle at Legacy West has been my second home for sure. I host lunch meetings and dinner meetings at this place. The staff is amazing and the food is on point. Employees like Misty have made my experience a great one. Would recommend this place for your next event or just lunch or dinner.

We had an amazing time on Easter Sunday! It is always a such a pleasant experience. One of the things we really loved about this place is the bar area, which is so bright and inviting with its large windows. Although the oysters weren't available that day, we were pleasantly surprised by the colossal crab dish. It turned out to be a delightful treat! We always have such a great time here and truly enjoy every visit.
