The item used to summon the bosses, the Rune of Kos, can be crafted before defeating Providence, the Profaned Goddess, but it is also dropped upon her death. Despite each boss being summoned using the Rune of Kos, you must be in the correct biome in order to summon a certain boss.

The Elysian Aegis is a post-Moon Lord accessory that is dropped by Providence, the Profaned Goddess when she is summoned in The Underworld or when defeated during the night. It grants 10 defense, immunity to fire blocks, knockback and several fire debuffs, including Daybroken and Holy Flames.
